- How long does a garage floor coating take?
- Most two- and three-car garages are ground, patched, and coated in a single day. You can walk on the floor that evening and park on it the next day. Bigger shops and pole barns can run into a second day, and we tell you which one you are before we start.
- Is this the same as the epoxy kit from the hardware store?
- No. Roll-on epoxy kits sit on top of the concrete and peel once hot tires and road salt get to them. We diamond-grind the slab so the coating bonds into the concrete, then finish with a polyaspartic topcoat that stays flexible through Michigan winters and does not yellow in the sun.
- What does a garage floor coating cost?
- Price depends on square footage and how much repair the concrete needs, so we quote it on site rather than guessing over the phone. The visit is free, there is no pressure, and you leave with a written number that does not move.
- Will it hold up to hot tires, salt, and jack stands?
- Yes. That is exactly what the system is built for. The flake and topcoat resist hot-tire pickup, road salt, oil, brake fluid, and the usual scrapes from tools and jack stands. Your floor is covered by a 15-year warranty.
- Do I have to empty the garage first?
- The floor needs to be clear before we grind. If you are also having cabinets or overhead racks installed, we sequence the work so everything comes off the floor once and goes back in its new home. We will tell you exactly what to move and when.
- What colors and flake blends can I pick?
- There is a wide range of flake blends, from subtle grays to full-color mixes, plus solid colors and custom blends. If you want your business logo colors or a specific look, we make a physical sample and let you approve it before any coating goes down.
- What areas do you serve?
- We are locally owned and based in Jackson, MI, and we work throughout south central Michigan, including Jackson, Parma, Spring Arbor, Albion, Brooklyn, Napoleon, and the surrounding towns. If you are not sure whether you are in range, call and ask.
