Haul ready

Trailer floor coatings in Jackson, MI that stop the rot.

A plywood trailer deck is a sponge, and a Jackson, MI winter finds every seam. Water gets in through every screw hole, the wood swells, and a few seasons later you are replacing the floor instead of hauling with it. Coating the deck seals it shut, adds grip, and turns cleanup into a hose and a broom.

  • Seals the deck against water and rot
  • Grips wet boots, ramps, and tires
  • Sweeps and hoses out clean

What we actually do on site.

No mystery, and no crew you have never met showing up in an unmarked van.

  1. The deck gets prepped and sealed

We prep the wood, seal the seams and edges where water actually gets in, and carry the coating up the wall a few inches so the deck becomes one continuous surface.

  2. Flake goes down for grip

The flake is not only for looks. It gives the deck texture, so wet boots, ramps, and tires hold instead of sliding when you are loading in the rain.

  3. Back on the road quickly

Same polyaspartic system as the floors, so it cures fast. Most trailers are done in a day and ready to load right after.

Worth knowing before you call.

  • Enclosed, car haulers, toy haulers

If it has a deck and a ramp, we can coat it. Race trailers, landscape trailers, and work trailers all get the same treatment.

  • Cleans out in minutes

Mud, grass, oil, and road salt sit on top of the coating instead of soaking into the wood. Sweep it, hose it, and it is ready for the next load.

  • It adds resale value

A sealed, finished deck is the first thing a buyer looks at. A trailer with a clean coated floor sells faster than one with a swollen, stained deck.

  • We are very satisfied with the results of our garage floor and front porch coatings. Eric was very accommodating with us and in fact made a couple extra trips to our home to answer questions to be sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. Would highly recommend Eric and his team for your project.

  • Working with Cutting Edge was extremely easy. We discussed my floor size to determine the cost, I picked out custom colors to match my business logo, and they made me a sample to make sure I liked it before committing to it.
